I didn't have 20/20 vision; I had 20/10 vision. My eyesight was better than perfect; I didn't have to wear glasses in any way, shape,
or form.
Then age started to pick on me, and I suddenly found myself having to wear reading glasses, like millions of other people. And I found
that, unlike people who have worn glasses their whole life, I kept losing my glasses. I would set them down somewhere because I didn't
need them constantly, and then when I did need them, I had no idea where they were.
That's where I got the idea for Li'L Specs, custom, handmade clay eye glass pins. Each one is a unique
piece of jewelry, a one of a kind impression and characterization of animals, real or imaginary. As you go through this
site you'll see dogs, birds, fish, and many other types of animals. I can make different types of each animal, and the colors can be
realistic or diverse, depending on what you'd like.
The extension of these custom eye glass holders is that, with a small change from a pin to a clip, they make the perfect fun
accessory for holding badges of any type. Each one is unique, even if it's the same animal. After all, not all German Shepherds
or Tabby Cats look exactly the same.
On the pages contained within you will see some examples of these animals, and many others. I have
made turtles, frogs, unicorns, dolphins, and many other animal pins. And they can be made with whatever color you choose.
On every page, there is an order form that you can click on and tell me what you'd like. If you
just say "dog", then I'll send you a dog. If you say "St Bernard", then you'll get a St Bernard. If you say "purple St
Bernard", you'll get a purple St Bernard. Customized and handmade means you can get what you want, the way you want it, as there
are many different colors of clay. Also, you can let me know if you want your piece of jewelry to be wearing glasses or not.
I can also make other things out of clay if requested, such as flowers, flags, states, ribbons, hats, etc. Just put through a request, or send me
an email, and we can talk about it. Maybe you'd like something for a group; each piece will be similar, but also slightly different, so everyone
will feel they got something special.
